"If you haven't seen this play you should definitely check it out. It's the talk of the city in NY. 'Can love between Blacks & Dominicans Survive?' They have one of the most talented cast and crew I've ever seen. The storyline entertains and enlightens its audience as well.
In March of 2008, Aderia L. Johnson and Tower Yearbook at New Jersey City University booked Platanos & Collard Greens to perform at the Margaret Williams Theatre on campus. I hosted the show, BET's own DJ Nix in the Mix was doing his thing on the 1's & 2's along with the very talented emcee & singer La Femme Nikita. 107.5 WBLS Street Team came through to promote and show love to the nearly sold out audience.
