Happy New Year to you and yours! A day after the Rev. Martin Luther King holiday, I'm reminded that a dream comes with sacrifice and commitment. Nothing in life comes easy and as you get older sometimes dreams become harder to obtain. Giving up for me is not an option. Giving up for you shouldn't be either. Make adjustments and realign your goals to fit your current situation and believe that all things are possible. I had to put together a short reel highlighting some of my moments as a host over the past 8 years. This reel features R&B artist Amerie, Steele from the Brooklyn rap duo Smif & Wesson, Bad Boy Entertainment CEO and artist Diddy, female vocalist Dawn from Dirty Money and Danity Kane and G-Unit artist Lloyd Banks. The final portion of the reel is footage from me hosting the hit off-Broadway play 'Platanos & Collard Greens' from my Alma Mata New Jersey City University. It's 2013. Things have changed drastically in the world since I started this blog in 2008. The one thing that remains the same is my passion and love for what I do. If I have inspired one person to follow out their goals and be successful, I am pleased with that.
