WHERE YA AT? VIDEO SHOW

"What's up good people? It's been a minute since my last post, but I'm still here. Sometimes in order to move better in your future, you have to take a look back at the past. While in my senior year of college, I had the opportunity to intern with Where Ya At? Video Productions through owner Mike Sisti, a veteran and well respected producer and videographer. I had appeared in a documentary for a classmate of mine named Chris Morton. It was about youth culture in America and I dropped my thoughts of what is was like growing up in an urban setting. He was impressed with my on-screen presence and dialog and said he may have an opportunity for me. He introduced me to Mike, who was looking for a new host, and my first day on the job with little preperation, I interviewed soul and funk artists Que & Malaika who had a new single 'P in the Funk' that featured the legendary musician George Clinton. I was nervous but got through it pretty well for a newcomer. Mike was pleased, hired me on the spot and my hosting career had begun. I hosted the weekly show from early 2004 up until June 2005. The show had the hottest videos out as well as live performances, interviews and was sponsored by clothing chain Against All Odds. I'm grateful for opportunities such as this one and for a while we had a top watched video show in prime time for Comcast Cable. Mike gave me a platform to shine and build my craft and I will always appreciate that! I had a chance to really network in the music business as well as interview some celebrity talent. Where Ya At? Video Show also led to my introduction to the Justos Mixtape Awards and the rest is history! Check me out in my early days representing with Where Ya At? Video Show. Much respect to Reesha and Deejay Ran who contributed and hosted WYA as well. I will be posting more exclusive throwbacks as they become available. Thanks for watching!

D.BAIL FILES 'VANGELA' EDITION

"Hey my good people it has been a minute, I've been working hard to step it up in every aspect of my career and the blessings continue to flow in. Realizing God's plan for me and ordering my steps accordingly is my number one priority right now. The grustle is still strong and I continue with exclusives as Jersey gets some more shine with talented new artist, Vangela. Hailing from Newark NJ, Vangela has seen her share of ups and downs but courageously has achieved so much on her stride to greatness. She's also an actress, teacher and an accomplished athlete. She is definitely an inspiration to the ladies and it was my pleasure to interview her. Special thanks to A Lots of Lots A Vision for the camera work. Her single 'Greener' is also available on iTunes now. Check out Vangela's website
VangelasMusic.info and enjoy the video.
As always thanks for watching." - D.BAIL

D.BAIL FILES 'SHANE & DEEJAY RAN' EDITION

"Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks again for checking out the D.Bail Files! This installment features the Choice Hotels/Steve Harvey Morning Show Rising Star Challenge Winner - talented singer Shane, from Newark NJ. Shane's brother, DeeJay Ran, 'Fastest Hands in New Jersey' is a old friend of mine and we actually co-hosted my first show "Where You At?" video show on Comcast Cable. These two brothers eptimize the grind and hustle better known as 'Grustle' that I live and preach so often. Juggle two jobs, go back to school, work countless hours on your craft! What ever it takes don't give up. I think most of my interviews take on that type of theme, the unrelentless spirit of a fighter pushing and pushing to the finish. Shane talks about winning the Steve Harvey Rising Star Challenge and his future plans, while DeeJay Ran explains why its important to wear many hats and always stay professional. Both gentlemen were also nice enough to bless the audience with performances on what they do best! New Jersey has always had great talent and I am happy to feature two of the best today. Enjoy!" - D.BAIL

D.BAIL FILES 'SOLO' EDITION

"I recently was blessed with the opportunity to interview a legendary R&B group, SOLO.(Eunique Mack, Darnell Chavis, Danielle Stokes, Bass: Robert Anderson)This is their first live interview in many years and we covered everything from the past, present and their bright future plans. SOLO debuted in 1995 with a new age classic soul sound that captivated millions around the globe. Discovered on a NYC street corner, the group was produced by one of R&B's greatest duos - Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. SOLO was praised for their authentic sound by fans and critics alike and scored two top 10 R&B hits on their debut self-titled album, "SOLO". After their record label dissolved and their second album was released in 1998 with little to no promotion, SOLO took a break from music to pursue other ventures. Prompted by fans and friends yearning for that certain style of music that only SOLO can provide, the group reunited in 2010 and began recording once more. The chemistry is as great as it always was and the group is focused with a refreshed and rejuvenated start. I met up with SOLO courtesy of their manager, Patricia at Crown Jewelz Multimedia Center in Queens, NY. What I got was a classic interview that will be forever in my memory. We spoke on everything from their humble origins, favorite show memories, to adjusting to technology and so much more. We even were treated to a special performance! I hope you enjoy this candid interview and you can definitely stay tuned for the exciting return of quality soul music. SOLO is back!" - D.BAIL

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!

"Happy New Year to you and yours, I hope the first few weeks of 2011 has been great thus far. As usual my commitment to providing you quality entertainment will continue. The relaunch of the LLC - R Double N Ent has been in movement once more with the new web series 'GRUSTLE TV', I appreciate the few of you who have checked it out here and on Youtube. As I continue working on the DVD release as well as the musical soundtrack, my grind has continued to take me to extraordinary heights as I begin an acting career as well. Right now I have been auditioning for different roles so if anyone you know has a script I can read please let me know! I can play many different characters and I have voice talent as well. The '100 Miles N Grustlin' soundtrack will feature songs from New Jersey based hip hop artists E Skille, DZ, Barri Blakk, A Lots, Tyson and Jersei Raw as well as R&B Soul features from Gram and K.Bell. You can check out some old music from R Double Ent at CDBABY.COM/RDOUBLEN.

The Justos Mixtape Awards is back! The new website also been relaunched at THEJUSTOS.COM with the awards coming this October. There will be many events surrounding this 15th annual Mixtape Awards special. You can follow them on twitter.com/thejustos for all additional info, and the nominations for awards has now started online so make sure you sign up! I am still working with legendary stations 107.5 WBLS & 1190 WLIB and I 'm hoping to use my talents with them in a more diverse way this year. Sometimes you have to create opportunities for yourself or create a lane where there isn't one. Radio has always been my first passion and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to reach people through it daily. Starting January 29th, I will be returning to New Jersey City University to teach Media Arts and Drama to a group of Pre College Students every weekend, God has been and always will be good. Even through my trials and tribulations I celebrate because I understand the struggle is a necessity to build my strength and character. I am still thankful!

Below are the final two episodes of Season 1 for 'GRUSTLE TV'. Special thanks to Young Jack Thriller for inviting me and A Lots to G-Unit Records for an exciting interview about his come up and future plans. He was a humble and cool brother. It's refreshing to have someone be candid and real about their career -- the good parts and the bad. He stayed persistant and had a successful year and earned the title 'The Ultimate Grustler' for 2010. Stay tuned for part two of that chat which will be released soon. 'GRUSTLE TV Season 2' will be returning later this year! Check out my youtube channel 'DBAILFILES' for more exclusives. Much respect to all those grustlin' under tough circumstances, I been there, I am still there but like you have no intentions of backing down or slowing up, Salute! Don't stay boxed in this year ladies and gentlemen. Surprise yourself and set new goals and resolutions as frequent as you accomplish them." - D.BAIL
