DOUG "D.BAIL" BAILEY MEDIA ARTS SPECIALIST REEL

Happy New Year to you and yours! A day after the Rev. Martin Luther King holiday, I'm reminded that a dream comes with sacrifice and commitment. Nothing in life comes easy and as you get older sometimes dreams become harder to obtain. Giving up for me is not an option. Giving up for you shouldn't be either. Make adjustments and realign your goals to fit your current situation and believe that all things are possible. I had to put together a short reel highlighting some of my moments as a host over the past 8 years. This reel features R&B artist Amerie, Steele from the Brooklyn rap duo Smif & Wesson, Bad Boy Entertainment CEO and artist Diddy, female vocalist Dawn from Dirty Money and Danity Kane and G-Unit artist Lloyd Banks. The final portion of the reel is footage from me hosting the hit off-Broadway play 'Platanos & Collard Greens' from my Alma Mata New Jersey City University. It's 2013. Things have changed drastically in the world since I started this blog in 2008. The one thing that remains the same is my passion and love for what I do. If I have inspired one person to follow out their goals and be successful, I am pleased with that. I am not sure what the future holds but best believe I will continue to work hard and more efficient for the months ahead. Peace and blessings until the next post! - D.BAIL

"Hey friends, it's been some time since I last checked in. Let me start this post off by saying thank you to all of you who have supported me without hesitation since day one. I have to give a shout to Barri Blakk of Blakk Magic Productions for use of his studio for the shoot. Remembering some of the great moments in my career, brought me back to the reason why I started what I've been doing for the past 12 years - helping others. I use my story to inspire those who need it and if I do nothing more than that, I will be happy for what God has given. Enjoy your weekend!" - D.BAIL

“If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.” ― Bruce Lee

LIFE AND TIMES OF D.BAIL:

The relaunch of the LLC - R Double N Ent has been in movement once more with the new web series 'GRUSTLE TV', I appreciate the few of you who have checked it out here and on Youtube. As I continue working on the DVD release as well as the musical soundtrack, my grind has continued to take me to extraordinary heights as I begin an acting career as well. Right now I have been auditioning for different roles so if anyone you know has a script I can read please let me know! I can play many different characters and I have voice talent as well. The '100 Miles N Grustlin' soundtrack will feature songs from New Jersey based hip hop artists E Skille, DZ, Barri Blakk, A Lots, Tyson and Jersei Raw as well as R&B Soul features from Gram and K.Bell. You can check out some old music from R Double Ent at CDBABY.COM/RDOUBLEN.

The Justos Mixtape Awards is back! The new website also been relaunched at THEJUSTOS.COM with the awards coming this October. There will be many events surrounding this 15th annual Mixtape Awards special. I am still working with legendary stations 107.5 WBLS & 1190 WLIB and I 'm hoping to use my talents with them in a more diverse way this year. Sometimes you have to create opportunities for yourself or create a lane where there isn't one. Radio has always been my first passion and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to reach people through it daily. Starting January 29th, I will be returning to New Jersey City University to teach Media Arts and Drama to a group of Pre College Students every weekend, God has been and always will be good. Even through my trials and tribulations I celebrate because I understand the struggle is a necessity to build my strength and character. I am still thankful!

Below are the final two episodes of Season 1 for 'GRUSTLE TV'. Special thanks to Young Jack Thriller for inviting me and A Lots to G-Unit Records for an exciting interview about his come up and future plans. He was a humble and cool brother. It's refreshing to have someone be candid and real about their career -- the good parts and the bad. He stayed persistant and had a successful year and earned the title 'The Ultimate Grustler' for 2010. Stay tuned for part two of that chat which will be released soon. 'GRUSTLE TV Season 2' will be returning later this year! Check out my youtube channel 'DBAILFILES' for more exclusives. Much respect to all those grustlin' under tough circumstances, I been there, I am still there but like you have no intentions of backing down or slowing up, Salute! Don't stay boxed in this year ladies and gentlemen. Surprise yourself and set new goals and resolutions as frequent as you accomplish them." - D.BAIL

GRUSTLE TV EPISODE 9:

D. BAIL/MUSIC CHOICE REEL (EXTENDED)

"Late night on the Grustle as usual! November is here and the end of the year has caught up with us. Thanksgiving & Christmas right around the corner. 2011 already? I feel as though I'm running a race getting closer to that finish line. In order to be remain successful one needs to build a strong track record wherever they go. Thats why I interned for 5 years no complaints and worked on my craft DAILY with different companies. It was never easy and it never will be! Enjoy the great moments and unforgetable individuals along the way. I was blessed to be on an award winning show and I will always appreciate the opportunties God allows me to have. Honestly I can't take to much credit for it. One thing I learned about Micheal Jackson in his death and watching all of his old footage is --- he remained humble. To me that is one of the factors that has kept me with chances to show my talent.
I'm not chasing a dollar, I'm just doing what I love -- entertaining you all. There were folks around me during this time that really wanted to see me win. I still say to them thank you. Check out my extended Music Choice reel. The show Certified made my professional leap into entertainment an educational and enriching start!" - D.BAIL
